Can I learn Stenography at home?

    Yes, we can learn Stenography at home when we study with full concentration.


    Do practice daily, gives 2 hours for study, one hour for reading exercise and one hour for practice.  If you give every day 2 hours for practicing and learning then you can learn easily stenography at home.

 

Firstly, you can start with the introduction of what is steno, where came from, how to use that, where it is work & how much time it takes.

 

When you have understood the introduction and completed your research on stenography.  Now, you can start from the chapter’s do daily half or full exercises with your capability.

 

You can learn and understand the whole chapter, then it will be perfect to catch grammalogues easily.   You can remember the strokes, consonants, and vowels of shorthand.

 

Slowly-2 do each chapter and practice daily.  You will see how fast you learned the shorthand.  When you will feel ahead in your exercise then you can start dictation and listening to any radio or read newspapers and practice with that.  It improves your speed and stenography.

In stenography 80 wpm, 100 wpm, and 120 wpm speeds are required.

If you are a beginner you have to achieve 80 wpm speed, after that, you can nearby 100wpm speed with your passion.

      Yes, the stenography is still in use because it’s not outdated.     I know you all have curious thinking regarding stenography where it came from and still use or not.     Students stenography was ancient from 450bc, its name was cuneiform. this language was similar to Egyptian languages like images languages.     Although, the Chinese reinvented that and change the name from cuneiform into shorthand.     Chinese culture was the first to adopt a concise language for court reporting.     Rome and Greece have adopted this language in different ways.
