Difference between Typist and Stenography

  All office work is done by a typist and stenographer.          Even though both of them are involved in document preparation there is a slight difference that can be seen in the way to prepare the documents.        The responsibility of the typist work to copy the documents, and use the typewriter to prepare documents formally.      Stenography use shorthand technique for verbal communication into documents.        Typist & Opportunity      A typist can find a job in every sector of the business firm giving lucrative opportunities to do a letter typing and memos preparing job.      The typist can do a job in data handling service. They can find a job as a receptionist, personal typists, and fax operators.   Stenography & Opportunity      In stenography, we can seek jobs in central and state governments department, and jobs are recruited for stenographer vacancies.  Most of the recruitments are carried out by SSC, UPSC, and the Ministry of Affairs.

      Yes, the stenography is still in use because it’s not outdated.     I know you all have curious thinking regarding stenography where it came from and still use or not.     Students stenography was ancient from 450bc, its name was cuneiform. this language was similar to Egyptian languages like images languages.     Although, the Chinese reinvented that and change the name from cuneiform into shorthand.     Chinese culture was the first to adopt a concise language for court reporting.     Rome and Greece have adopted this language in different ways. Rome adopted shorthand for its legal system as well and Greece picked up for the trend.     Stenography is a hidden language that is supported in both types of the Government sector.
