How many types of stenography and what are the skills of stenography?

 



    Stenography Has Four Types:-

    1. Text stenography, 

    2. Video stenography, 

    3. Audio stenography, 

    4. Image stenography.

 

    As I will teach you in future text, video & audio stenography.

 

    Steno-typist needs to have some skills and good understanding. This Stenographer has an individual personality they face multiple roles in it.

 

    His/hers they have to good verbose vocabulary. if you like this job role you can make your plan of education awesome and you can do your duties/responsibilities of this job role very well.

 

    The stenographer's role does typing and write the dictation in shorthand.     Arranging the meetings and maintaining the confidentiality of all files, maintaining all documents in proper order, keeping a reference book and record of the case until they are closed.

 

    A Stenographer is a professional who transcribes the spoken word into coded language.  The stenographer at the court transcribes the legal proceedings.

  

    As a stenographer considering these types of skills.


    They have attention to detail, active listening skills, patience, written communication skills & transcription skills.  Once candidates acquire the necessary skills after that they can apply for a stenographer.

 

    The stenographer has played a very tough role in every field of the job. Firstly they were given an examination if they passed then a second aptitude test began. When he/she pass after that they give a skill test.

 

    The exam is conducted on reasoning, general knowledge, computer & English skills & the Examiner gives timing only for 2 hrs.

 

    Once they passed in the first round then the second begins with essay/paragraph writing and letter writing these types of tests are conducted.

 

    Though, in the skills test the candidate writes spoken words in shorthand for only 10 minutes.  For the stenography job, 8 to 10 minutes are only given for writing steno in coding language.

 

    In the SSC vacancy of C or D grade field they required different types of speed in the C grade field they required 100 wpm speed and in D grade they required 80 wpm speed.

 

    These types of tackles the stenographer handles with their skills of education.
