As follow the Differences.

1.       The SSC Cgl and Steno both have different courses and syllabus.  CGL tier level is much complicated to more than Steno, it has 4 tiers of online tests.

2.       In the Cgl test math is required and other than Steno math is not needed in it.  If you have math phobia then you can steno or if your math is wonderful and you like it then choose cgl.

3.       In the steno skill test is very difficult for all skill tests.  You should know shorthand to clear the steno skill test and have also knowledge of typing. In all, only typing is required.

4.       Essentially both are different and both exam pattern is also very much different. You can’t compare them both.

5.       Both of the posts of SSC steno are good and worth it. Many people might consider it to be a low profile but that is not the case. If you want to work as an inspector or assistant or ASO and don’t like stenography or short hand typing then you should go for SSC CGL.

6.       The examination consists of four-tier levels_SSC CGL

        Objective Multiple Choice (Online; computer-based)

        Objective Multiple Choice (Online; computer-based)

Descriptive Paper (Pen and Paper mode)
